Broaddaylight, formed in 2004, is James Eakins (guitar, synths, electronics, and production), Henry Bennett (guitar) and Sarah Eakins (vocals).

Inspired by artists Robin Guthrie, Brian Eno, Robert Smith, and Slowdive, they set to work on their debut the bell jar ep (independent release, 2005) looking to create a vertical colored world of sound.

To date, all their albums have been mastered by Robin Guthrie. They have achieved cult world status, and are currently signed to Saint Marie Records.

In their continuous exploration of new sounds and new technologies, broaddaylight is ever-changing with core roots in electronic, ambient, and experimental music; and are often described as cinematic.
